Transfers
We do handle firearms transfers. If you need to send your firearm to a licensed dealer or you have found a firearm that you want to buy and need to have it mailed to a licensed dealer, contact us with the information for the licensed dealer that will be sending/receiving the firearm and we'll send them a copy of our
federal firearms license (FFL).
Our transfer fee is $30 (both sending and receiving). For outbound transfers, the actual shipping cost is added to the price. For inbound transfers, $5 is added to the price for the background check (that's what the state charges us).
Please note that federal and/or state law requires background checks and a
3 day wait period for handguns (for non concealed carry permit holders) even if we're only handling the transfer on the receiving end.
We do NOT process payments for firearms purchased from other dealers or private owners - we only facilitate the transfer.
